Opaque tights are a must have for every woman in winter and Levantes’s Ultimate 80 tights are hard to beat. With a denier of 80, this is the most opaque of Levante’s range and feels utterly luxurious against your skin.
The Levante Ultimate 80 Opaque Tights come in quite basic packaging: a standard card clasp with a hook for retail display. The information on the packaging does however provide basic information: a size chart, fibre content and washing instructions. The Levante Ultimate 80 Opaque Tights are available in Black only.
Extracting them from the pack reveals an opaque tight that feels quite light for 80 denier. If these were 30 denier or lighter we would call them sheer to waist, they are of average weight and finish from waistband to toe. The legs are unshaped, and the brief is finished with flat seams and a cotton-lined gusset. They are matte with hardly any shine. Opacity, at 80 denier, is good but not quite total in areas where the yarn is stretched.
Colour is even without, and banding and the finish are beautifully soft to the touch. Immediately warm to wear. The “Climate Control” is the result of very soft microfibre tights with revolutionary double layered fabric which draws moisture from the skin allowing the legs to breathe naturally. These tights used to be called Airskin Opaques but have now been rebadged Ultimate 80 as they really are the ultimate opaque!
